Basic principles
Lotteries are a form of game where participants select a certain number of numbers from a predetermined range (for example, from 1 to 50). During the draw, the winning numbers are determined at random. The result depends on how many of them match the selected numbers.
There are several types of lottery tickets:
- Classic paper tickets — widely available at traditional points of sale.
- Electronic tickets — used on the official websites of operators.
- Instant lotteries (scratch cards) — the result is visible immediately after scratching off the protective layer.

How raffles work

Draws take place on specific days and at specific times. During these draws, special machines or electronic systems randomly select a set of winning numbers. After that, the official authorities publish the results, which usually include the main numbers and, in some lotteries, additional (bonus) numbers.

The more numbers you match with the winning numbers, the higher the prize category. Some lotteries also take into account bonus numbers or additional conditions, such as the ticket series number.
